Many of the orthodontists and dentists we speak with ask me the same question: “what am I going to write about in a blog every week?” This is a legitimate concern because it does take some thought and time to keep your orthodontic or dental blog updated. And if you remember from earlier posts and videos, we need to add new blog posts every week.

I ran across a good post today (click here to review it) that should help keep your minds open to what you can and should be writing about. This post was about a father who saw the results of his daughter after being treated with Invisalign. This post does well for reasons on several levels.

First, the post automatically brings in social proof without it feeling forced. Second, there is ample opportunity to put your targeted keywords into the post. If the idea was to show up for the keyword Invisalign, it can be and is used throughout the post without overdoing it. To make it pull in the search engines even better, they should have placed the keyword Invisalign into the title as well. And third, this post reminds parents who are looking for treatment for their kids that is never too late for them to get the smile they’ve always wanted as well.

The last thing to consider with a post like this using a call to action or making an offer. When you have all of these elements working together for you, don’t be afraid to let the reader know what to do next. The key is not to try and push them to do anything, just make it easy for them to get in touch or make an appointment. You won’t get the phone to ring if you don’t ask for the call and make it easy to do it.

And with that in mind, if you need any help with your online marketing, would like to get free video training, or just want to ask us a question, give us a call at 720-989-1932 or click the “call me” button on the right and it will take care of the dialing for you.

Bye for now,

Brian
